Lucy was found wandering the Peak Downs Highway near Mackay, unclaimed and unwanted. Diagnosed with severe Heartworm Disease, her treatment seemed impossible to afford alone. That’s when Lucy’s Lucky Tags was born — and thanks to our incredible community, Lucy is now healthy, happy, and living her best life.
All our dogs live in loving foster homes where they receive individual attention and care.

Scooby is bursting with love, loyalty, and personality! He has spent the last few months in care getting all his vet work done and learning how to be the best boy he can be. Scooby is a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on being close to his people. He doesn’t like to be left alone — he just loves company too much! Bruno came from a caring home where he was deeply loved, but sadly, due to long work hours, his owner could no longer give him the time and attention he truly deserves. Now, Bruno is looking for a forever home where he can be part of the family again. This big, affectionate boy lives for human connection. Whether it’s a walk along the beach, a stroll around the block, a game of fetch, or simply lying by your side, Bruno just wants to be near his people. He is well-trained, walks beautifully on a lead, is great with children of all ages, and is toilet trained indoors.Don’t let his size fool you— Bruno is gentle at heart and not a big eater. He’s easygoing with food (though he might cheekily leave his veggies behind!). Bruno gets along well with other dogs, especially when introduced slowly and calmly. Bruno would thrive in a home where he has an active person or family to share life with. Daily walks, playtime, or fetch are part of the routine. And a home where he can spend time both indoors and outdoors (but most importantly, with you)

Bella adores cuddles and will happily curl up beside you for hours—she’s the perfect companion for quiet nights and cozy mornings. One of her cutest quirks? She loves to *hide* her treats instead of eating them right away—saving them like little treasures for later. Bella is recently desexed, fully vaccinated & full of love and affection! She would thrive best in a home where she can be the center of attention. Bella prefers not to share her humans with other dogs, so she’s ideally suited to an older couple or a family without other pets.
